Title: Questions of Character
Author: Sixthlight
Canon: Rivers of London
Pairing: Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 6,404
Summary: I’m embarrassed to admit that it wasn’t Nightingale kissing me, that night, that made me realise there was something seriously wrong.

Recommendation: Ah, the importance of communication can not be overstated especially in a 'magic made us do it' circumstance establishing what is in line with one's own character. And then of course, it's hot.

Title: Secret Rooms of Hogwarts
Author: Attila
Canon: Rivers of London
Pairing: Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 86,846
Summary: When Peter Grant is whisked out of unemployment and into a post as Potions Master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he expects the teenagers to be the worst things in the castle. It's a pity Lesley May thinks one of the other new professors might be working for the Faceless Man. And as far as she's concerned, the most likely suspect is Defense expert Thomas Nightingale--gorgeous, talented, and a totally sketchy bastard.

Recommendation: Holy crap, I loved this so much! I loved all the parts that were integrated together, especially the magic. I love that they are both teachers. I love the use of the Room of Requirement and all the Rivers characters popping up. It is just so great!!

Title: Rain on a Sunny Day
Author: Esteliel
Canon: Rivers of London
Pairing: Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 4,003
Summary: When Nightingale summoned the rain cloud to follow his apprentice around the house, he didn't realize how distracting Peter would be in wet clothes.

Recommendation: I love the thought of Thomas feeling light enough to pull this prank, and I love that it leads to more as well.

Title: The Mostly Ceremonial series
Author: Sixthlight
Podficcer: knight_tracer
Canon: Rivers of London
Pairing: Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale
Rating: General - Mature [G - R]
Word Count: 23,018
Summary: Peter and Nightingale have to get married for MAGIC CEREMONY REASONS. People have opinions about this.

Recommendation: Boy, I can not say no to a 'have to marry for reasons' and everyone is all 'well we thought it was going to happen sooner or later' and then they realize that that is a fair point. I love all of the different perspectives.

Title: Schrodinger's Wedding
Author: Sixthlight
Canon: Rivers of London
Pairing: Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 12,606
Summary: If a marriage takes place but neither of the parties involved knows it’s real, is anybody really married? Unfortunately for Peter and Nightingale, the answer according to the Registry Office is yes. All they have to do is get divorced. It’s the twenty-first century. How hard can it be?

Recommendation: Goddamn, but I love "they didn't know that they were married but now that they do they'd rather keep it up" because of all the feelings! I love it SO much! I love that they just can't bear to be separated for very long, and that their coming together feels like a natural extension of what went before.

Title: First Impressions
Author: manic_intent
Canon: Rivers of London
Pairing: Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale
Rating: Mature [R]
Word Count: 54,963
Summary: You could say that I first got a Clue that my governor maybe, kind of, had a sort of Thing for me when Molly started methodically oversalting all my food and drink. Including the hot cocoas.

Recommendation: I count my lucky stars when I fall into a new fandom only to find that manic_intent has written in it, because I know I'm about to read the good stuff. This does not disappoint. Not only does it had an ensemble cast it also has a case that needs solving as well as feelings that need to be sorted out. So much delicious plot.

Title: The Purple Jug
Author: Philomytha
Podficcer: originally reads
Canon: Rivers of London
Pairing: Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 5,826
Summary: Nightingale and Peter on a case at a gay bar. Set before Broken Homes, no spoilers.

Recommendation: Kiss your inhibitions goodbye. Though they do still manage to have the grown-up conversations so it's not all bad.

Title: Stranger Than You Could Imagine
Author: Sixthlight
Podficcer: Rhea314
Canon: Rivers of London
Pairing: Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale
Rating: Mature [R]
Word Count: 6,389
Summary: If Thomas looked at Peter sometimes and saw a handsome young man – well, that was his business. The moment always passed, a strange sort of visual illusion that vanished when you tilted your head the other way. Except when it didn’t.

Recommendation: I got into this fandom in a strangely circuitous way. It started with me creating some podfic cover art while on vacation and me reading a couple of fics to get ideas but I stopped because I realized that I'd like to read the books which I didn't get around to until this year. (I recommend the audiobooks, very good.) Once I'd gotten a firm hold on the canon, I dived back into the fanfiction. There is so much good stuff, this one being a prime example. I enjoy this interpretation of these two. I love Thomas's voice in this story, but head right over to the sequel for Peter's take as it is equally as good.
