Summary: Dax made a tiny sound, like an aha, then sat up straighter in her seat. Her hand crossed the console to find Kira’s. The movement was so surprising that Kira didn’t move away, instead frowning over at her copilot. What was Dax up to now? “Oh, we’re married.”

Recommendation: The first couple of seasons with these two, man, was that some queerbaiting, but aliens require chaperones regardless of gender is a trope I wish happened more often, because it tickles me.

This pairing has always intrigued me. It'd be interesting to see an Ezri/Kira ship too.

There was soooo much shippiness in the early seasons, I'd forgotten how much until a recent rewatch.

That was of course the other femslash ship, but I have to confess I never really warmed up to Ezri and that is totally down to her replacing Jadzia not a slight on her character. I just wish she'd been introduced not as Jadzia's replacement, ya'know.
