Summary: After fulfilling her quest to return Sansa Stark to her family, Brienne is sent back to King’s Landing to meet her betrothed. There she also encounters Jaime Lannister-now lord of his house-once again.
Recommendation: This is something of a long time favorite of mine. No angst as it rather ignores the whole war torn, about to be invaded portion of the books and lets it be about our favorite pair. I love how Jaime’s all stroppy and jealous and Brienne has no idea what his problem is ‘cause that isn’t something that happens to her. It’s as much of a makeover story as I’d be able to stand for because it doesn’t change Brienne. And I love her little maid.
