At the suggestion of the lovely [personal profile] musyc, I'm going to be announcing when I've made progress in backdating my previous recs but then I thought perhaps I should give a quick outline of the fandoms and pairings that were featured in the entries that I've done. They will be listed in reverse chronological order.

I finished entering in August 2017 and the whole of July 2017. :)

District 9 | Christopher Johnson/Wikus van der Merwe
Tokyo Ghoul | Touka Kirishima/Yoriko Kosaka, Ken Kaneki/Hideyoshi ‘Hide’ Nagachika
Good Omens | Aziraphale/Crowley
TMNT | Leonardo ‘Leo’ Hamato/Raphael 'Raph’ Hamato
Big Wolf on Campus | Tommy Dawkins/Merton Dingle

Well, currently I'm just skimming the entire month at once. XD BUT, if I were coming in fresh? Fandom first, then ... hmm. If it's a fandom I'm familiar with and where I frequently read fics, I probably have an OTP, so I'll look at pairings first. If it's a fandom I'm unfamiliar with or where I don't like the main OTP, I'll read gen first, then look at pairings. Character's not going to matter to me much, personally.

I think the way you write your recs, since it includes character/pairing in the post itself, it's less of a variable for me.

I've never run close to running out of tags, so this is ramble thinking, but maybe a master post linking to post with a small quantity tag - one-off pairings or very rare characters in your categorizations, that sort of thing. It might be a lot more work for you, but could possibly cut down on the tags that only get used once or twice?
