Recommendation: I do so love stories that mix in some good old fashioned fairy tale elements. And if it means Jaskier gets to stick around, I'm not complaining. ;)

Recommendation: I loved the thought of Jaskier having power that is really just an extension of his abilities and the whole bards and sorcerers being the same thing differing chiefly in their methods of delivery. I equally love the thought of Jaskier and Renfri being such good bros. It warms my heart.

Recommendation: Oh man, the last-minute project. All the horrible/wonderful memories. These two sassy, badass lesbians start to get a little punchy by the end, but I think they did a wonderful job illustrating their assigned virtue. Nothing is quite so courageous as emotional honesty. Oh god, Bakugou defining peace, holy crap, I'm convinced All Might has a perverse sense of humor.

My favorite other than the main pairing was Todoroki and Tokoyami and their "I'm one with the Night" brood-fest. Too funny.

Or: The Patron Saint of London's LGBT Community is real, and he lives in Soho.

Recommendation: Though this story tackles systemic historical homophobia it is still super interesting to have out favorite angle speaking such interesting cant. Crowley is of course intrigued and adoring as always.

There were some changes but really, I thought they work and the soul of the story was very much there. Oh and while the gay was subtextually in the book, the show dialed it up to eleven. It pleases me so. As always, thehoyden delivers a wonderful (and naughty *waggles eyebrows*) story and the Yelp reviews at the end are hysterical.

Recommendation: First off, excellent use of an obscure Marvel villain. I love what all the Defenders are as shifters, very on point, and that they all still have their powers on top of or despite being shifters. I loved how involved Foggy is with the other Defenders and how it gives him and Matt the chance to really hash things out even if they keep getting interrupted.

Recommendation: Magic is always a tricky thing to deal with, feelings are another thing that can be tricky to deal with especially if your name is Matthew Murdock. I like the thought of the Defenders having more madcap adventures and while I know that isn't the tone of the show it's still pretty fun.
