Summary: When Snape brushes off James Potter's attempt to make amends, James makes a game out of winning the Slytherin's forgiveness. Instead of giving him some peace of mind, however, the game causes his feelings toward his once rival to spiral out of control in a direction he never anticipated.
Recommendation: Rather than being friends after a quick sorry, James really has to put his devious pranking-mind to the task of befriending Severus. And if feelings of genuine remorse and care keep popping up, well. . . And then there's the flirting. It's not really very good flirting as James has a very obnoxious way about him, but flirting nonetheless. But I love that James really has to do some soul-searching, and even Lily and Severus have to do a little as well. So very good!
