Summary: AU where Shane lives. Set in the prison. Shane and Rick have made up, but things are still awkward and new after Lori's death. Shane is raising Judith and knows he needs help. He wants to mend his relationship with Rick and give them both a chance to be parents to Judith.

Recommendation: Shane with at least three-fourths of the crazy left out, but I can't help but like a good reconciliation story. And Shane trying to make it as a dad is pretty cute.
