They are singing my song for this challenge, and no mistake! :D The biggest difficulty is keeping it down to a reasonable list, and I also was torn about listing stories that I eventually would want to use in my daily recs but I don't think any of them will suffer from being rec'd more than once. :D

Okay so I've put together a fairly eclectic list of epic length stories that I have enjoyed in the last month or so without further ado:

Allies by kanadka - Babylon 5 | Marcus Cole/Neroon | Mature | 146,715 | The Rangers' cover was blown on Zagros VII, but they're not done with the Drazi yet. Marcus is sent back to see what he can do to make amends and possibly a new Ranger outpost, while he's at it. Unfortunately, he's still healing from his bout with Neroon, and will need some assistance. He's a little disappointed with the Entil'Zha's choice in bodyguard.

In An Ideal World, Things Would Have Been Different by nanuk_dain - The Sinking of the Laconia | Werner Hartenstein/Thomas Mortimer | Explicit | 127,914 | Sometimes you meet the right person at the very wrong time, Hartenstein thinks while he's watching the Wehrmacht soldiers lead Mortimer away to their waiting vehicle.
 

Pokémon, Beyoncé and a Cute Christmas Sweater by sosioban - Almost Human | Richard Paul/MX-43 | Teen | 130,943 | Richard's MX has bought him a gift that sends them both on a quest for Gym Badges. Somewhere along the way Richard develops an attachment to the members of his Pokémon team- and to his MX. What they discover in a game may end up changing things in the real world as well.
