Recommendation: Merry Christmas Eve readers! I hope you are having a safe and happy holiday season even if you don't celebrate. :D So the spouse and I caved and got Disney+ so that we could watch The Mandalorian (so good!) and while waiting for new episodes to drop we decided to rewatch The Clone Wars (also so very good!!). I only vaguely recalled the episode with the Zillo Beast from the first watch these many years ago but boy was I stoked to find a story that answered the inevitable question: What would have happened if the the Chancellor had been killed by the Zillo Beast? While I've listed Anidala in the pairing row, this is more genfic and the real emotional thrust of the story is the air clearing that really (REALLY) needed to happen between Anakin and Obi-Wan. *sigh* What might have been.
