He eased his gun from its holster, slowly and silently turning the doorknob and then creeping in on the balls of his feet. Then he sighed and slid his gun back in place. He walked to the bathroom door and banged on it with his fist. “Something wrong with the shower in your apartment that you need to use mine, thief?”
