Non-Rec: Committing an Act of Memery

I'm kind of bored at the moment, so I went looking for a question meme to do and post here. I found this one created by midnightvale on Tumblr that I thought would be fun. :D It's all about sensory perception.

1. favourite colour(s)? All colors are my favorite, there really aren't colors that I won't like in one context or another. I look nice in purples.

2. least favourite colour(s)? Same as above, though if forced it might be beige but not really because that works in for somethings.

3. do you wear glasses/contacts? Nope.

4. are you colorblind? Most assuredly not. 

5. what are you seeing right now? The inside of the library I work at and the screen of the computer I'm on.

6. favourite band(s) or artist(s)? Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats

7. top five songs? I really don't have a good answer for this, I'm not big on music and only really ever listen to it in the car. "Favorite" always depends on my mood and level of headache.

8. favourite instrumental track(s)? The soundtrack to the Lord of the Rings films. :) Because I am a nerd.

9. favourite non-musical sound? Wind and rain outside while I'm snug inside.

10. what are you hearing right now? The buzz from the fluorescent lights. :P

Summary: “Sooooo...” the valkyrie drags the word out, and leans onto the table, her vambraces clanking against it, “where have you been exactly, while Asgard was consumed by the flames of Ragnarok and all that fun stuff?” “And where were you, valkyrie, during the Svartalfheim attack on Asgard that claimed our queen’s life?” Sif fires back, leaning onto the table herself, eyes roaming all over the valkyrie’s face. “This garbage dump called Sakaar,” she says then, and there’s a smile that’s as sharp as the edge of a warrior’s blade on her face, and the way she taps her fingers against the table is a mixture of playful and martial, somehow, in its rhythm, “we should visit. They have great booze, if nothing else.”

Recommendation: This was lovely! Sif definitely deserved to be written better than they did in the movies. I love that this acknowledges that she and Heimdall were siblings, and that she and Loki would have grown up together (and I liked that some of that is mended). But the best part is the slow and careful getting to know one another between Sif and Brunnhilde before becoming involved. So lovely *sigh*.
