Due to the recent policy changes over at Tumblr and the general break down of tag searches with outgoing links, I've begun expanding my presence over a few new platforms in the event that fandom decamps en mass from that sinking ship. I don't think that it will happen all at once on the 17th but I'm just trying to get ahead of this thing.
So I think I'd best introduce myself, I’m Isabelle Disraeli. I am in my mid-thirties living with my spouse and assorted fur-babies in the Southeastern United States. I identify as an asexual/biromantic and while I would like to do some posts about asexuality positivity, I’m primarily here to recommend fanfiction that I have enjoyed. The lion’s share will be slash, but I will be including a selection of femslash and het stories as well. Though I am well old enough to have been on LiveJournal in its heyday, sadly in those days I was but a lurker in the halls of fandom and it was only later that I felt inspired to give back. That being said the Dreamwidth interface is proving to be a bit of a learning curve for me and I kind of wish I had a fandom mom to show me the ropes.
I do hope to start making regular posts here once I get everything figured out. :D
So fandoms, you better buckle in 'cause I plan to list them all. These are the fandoms that I have rec'd for and have plans to rec for, but I will probably add to this list.
Anyway, I am here to make some fandom friends and share my love of fanfic with others, so if you feel like chatting I'm game. :) [If I don't write back right away, it probably means I'm at work, asleep, or have the migraine and can't look at a screen :P.] I don't think I'll be doing too much personal posting here, though I might change mine mind later but I anticipate that this will be a predominately fandom space for me. Feel free to link to any public posts, but please do drop me a line letting me know that you are going to. :D
