Summary: The thing about James Tiberius Kirk is that he’s brave for some things and a total coward for others. Despite how much he loves teasing Spock over his emotional constipation—pardon him, Spock’s Vulcan upbringing—he can’t really claim to be any better at dealing with his own feelings. 

Recommendation: Oh boy, this makes you wonder what Bones has done to deserve these two idiots. Jim more so than Spock, but he’s still hanging around in miscommunications town. The planet they visit sounds really cool, but it struck me as embarrassing that one day we might have to explain what we humans have done to our own planet’s ecosystems. I feel like it would be a black mark against our character, and it is, but still embarrassing.
