Summary: Detective Brienne Tarth transfers to the King’s Landing Police Department and is assigned to permanent nightshift duty: the Night’s Watch, where careers go to die. As if that weren’t bad enough, her new partner is the infamous Jaime Lannister. When they land a time-sensitive missing person case, trusting each other is the only way they might solve the mystery.
Recommendation: If any other two characters scream odd-couple cop partners more than these two without already being cop characters, I don’t know about them. They just fit perfectly into a gritty modern Westeros. What happened to the victims was a little gut wrenching, but this is Games of Thrones, so, yeah.
