Jane’s hair is in a messy ponytail, and ink is smudged along her left cheekbone. She sucks her bottom lip in for just a second when she punches the tack through the flyer to the corkboard below. Before Darcy can even be tempted by the prospect of storm chasing, she thinks, “Oh, yeah. I could stand to follow her around for awhile.”

Lol, that has been the weirdest part of the process. I'd heard that some podficcers find that they can't listen to themselves. I find that after the editing process is complete and I give it a day or two it somehow feels divorced from me. I can listen to it and it doesn't feel like it's me because it doesn't sound like me in my head, if that makes sense.

I am used to it now because of filming videos for online classes. I have more issues with the way I look than the way I sound. One of my eyes looks weird to me. LOL

Lol, I'm sure no one else thinks so, we are always our own worst critics. I work in a library and virtual programming is the name of the game now, and though I work in the circulation department they're making noises about all of us producing content too. I am not jazzed at the thought of being on camera, though I can now say I'd be comfortable doing narration or voiceover work. :D It's always nice when fandom-honed styles can come in handy at the office (as long as no one asks why one has those skills ;D).
