So my list, isn't so much a list. I wish to be able to create more podfic/story covers but I would like to do it for someone who has asked maybe even before they have posted. It just feels a little weird sidling up to podficcers/authors and dropping a "hey, I don't if you'll like this or care but here is a cover for your work". There is a tag that says cover art welcome, but honestly it seems like only the same few creators use it over and over. I don't know, I feel like flexing those creative muscles. Any takers?

I've only ever had one piece of artwork done for one of my stories, and that was by the person who beta'd the story. If you feel like any of my stories interest you to create a piece of artwork then I would love it! All my recent stories are posted at:

Well, if any of my stories happened to catch your creative interest, I'd love story covers for any of them! (No pressure, though - I know some of our fandoms don't overlap.)

Your post also inspired me to specifically add covers as a thing I'm okay with in my Transformative Works statement, because this is a lovely idea.

I honestly can't imagine a fan writer ever being offended by cover art or pod fic of their work. I wonder if there's a list of people who would definitely like cover art like there is a pod fic list.

I didn't even know there was a tag for "cover art welcome."

My fandoms are tiny so I'm not asking as I'd like your work to get greater exposure and that comes with doing this type of fanwork for larger fandoms.

I never knew that the cover art OK tag was even a thing! I know I'd certainly be ecstatic to receive cover art for any of my fic, if you ever felt so inclined, though ofc no pressure! all of my fic is on ao3 at gracerene

I also wanted to mention, after reading through the responses linked at the Snowflake challenge site that there's a whole bunch of them asking for cover art and/or pod fics of their work.

Wow, this is amazing! I didn't know about that tag - I'm going to start adding it to everything I do! No pressure, as you seem to have many candidates now, but I would love it if you'd be interested. My fics and podfics are here. Thank you for such a generous wishlist item!

I would be delighted to have covers for my work. If you post your art on AO3, there is a linking function to connect related works so more people can see it. My works are here.

My most popular fanseries is Love Is For Children, which has a list of photogenic scenes.

Huh. I didn't know that there was such a tag, they say, having used a "fanart welcome" tag on one of my works already, but if there were something that you felt remarkably inspired by, a cover art or a podfic would absolutely be a welcome thing. silveradept is the place where they exist.

...do I need to be more specific about the transformative works statement so that people feel confident that basically anything will be liked and enjoyed, and if it turns out not to be, the effort will still be appreciated?

...also, have we had this conversation before? I'm getting deja lis about it.

I didn't even know cover art was a thing! I'm a terrible writer, but you're always welcome to create any art etc you want about my fic. I do intend to finish a wip for that one challenge due in march and a cover for that would be really cool but - I have yet to write even a single line. ;_;
