Day 14 - Fandom Snowflake Challenge

In your own space, talk about what you think the future holds for fandom.

That really is hard to say, I'm no mover or shaker but for my own self I do hope that there continues to be a viable and active community here on Dreamwidth. If more of fandom ends up over on Pillowfort or Mastodon I may find myself tempted to give them a try, but I'm quite content to tend my own little slice of fandom here and on WordPress. I can't properly express though the comfort it gives me that we have AO3 and the OTW to rely on for archiving.

Over all the shape and character of the internet seems to be changing so it feels impossible to predict where we are all going. Five years ago I would never have guessed I'd be here (and very happy I am to be here too), who knows what another five years will bring.

Summary: Stephen Strange comes to Kamar-Taj with some quirky behaviors, causing Karl to take an interest in the man’s well being.

Recommendation: So I'm just going to say it, Doctor Strange was not my favorite Marvel movie. I didn't much find Stephen a sympathetic character, and I found many of the jokes badly shoehorned in (except for the one that ended with Wong laughing at the end, that was funny). I did enjoy Wong and the cape; and Stephen and Karl's early interactions. I liked this story because it gave Stephen a meek vulnerability that is appealing in the face of his earlier arrogance.
