Recommendation: I love this book series. I listened to the audiobooks narrated by Nathaniel Parker (it’s so great), and it wasn’t until like the fifth book that I got a funny shipy feeling that only got worse with the subsequent books. The feeling grew despite the introduction of a more “appropriate” romantic interest being introduced, these two are just better with and because of each other. Very few het pairing hold my interest anymore, it’s usually only the ones that cross some improbable divide like, oh say, species. Hartemis more than fits the bill, and their canon relationship is just as great.
