sylvaine  The meme going around with the fic tropes made me a bit sad since it didn't contain a lot of tropes that I love, and luckily the code is open source, so I made my own! ... two versions, because it is hard to choose just 25 tropes out of a long list of them, but sorting anything more than that takes FOREVER.

The short version is complete, barring perhaps a few minor tweaks. The long version is still being updated and I am still taking suggestions for that one. xD Also if there's any errors I would love if you would let me know. I am posting this mostly because I am tired and want to stop working on it already. :P

Because I am a sucker for all these sorters, I tried the non-romantic trope sorter (the short one) that sylvaine has worked up (go you!), and I find myself not really surprised with the outcome. :) That there looks like my wheelhouse.

I have never seen Due South. Or The Sentinel. Or lots of the foundational fandoms. I am behind!

I never saw The Sentinel either. :D Really of the foundational fandoms I've only really seen Due South, and maybe an episode or two ST:TOS. *shrug* I feel like I know a lot about them anyway just by fannish osmosis. ;D

I've seen all the Star Trek (well, except Enterprise). :)

Enterprise is the only one where I haven't seen any of it, all the others I'm familiar with to varying degrees. TNG was my jam back in middle school, I had such a crush on Picard (and a little one on Deanna). :)

My crush was Worf. (Well and Wesley Crusher LOL, but Worf was my "grownup" crush)

I love getting to see what tropes people go for :D I bet these kinds of things would also be useful for exchanges and such!

Ah Worf, he was great. I loved that he went over to DS9, his relationship with Jadzia, and that you got to see him next to and interacting with other Klingons. That was a lot of fun. :D

I loved Jadzia so hard. She is such a fantastic character. So much fun.

Yes, Jadzia was the best and I'm still not over that they killed her off. :( But she was so fantastic. Not only did I love her relationship with Wolf, but all over her other relationships (w/ Sisco, Kira, Julian) were all so special.
